US officials face big visa overstay record backlog – South Florida Sun-Sentinel.com.

Today’s Sun Sentinel in Broward County Florida published an interesting article on the numbers of visitors entering the U.S. who remain in the country by overstaying their visas. The number is staggering, an estimated 4 million to 5.5 million immigrants in all and 1.6 million since January 2011, and if the immigration authorities were to identify and pursue these persons the court system could be flooded with cases. Persons wishing to adjust their status should seek legal advice from a qualified attorney.
